Welcome to the jar

A jar is a list of links you fill together.

Every link arrives with its preview: the image, the title and the site. Everyone sees what's new live, and knows who added what.

Bocal keeps your links, nothing else. No ad profile, no e-mail to give, no password to remember.

No analytics, no trackers. Not in the app, not on this site.

    Your data stays in Europe

Jars and links are hosted in the European Union. Nothing is sold.

    Erase everything, in one tap

“Delete my data” erases your first name and your place in your jars, from the app's settings.

    Questions

    Everything you might wonder.

    Is it free?

Yes. Bocal is free, with no ads.

    Do I need an account?

No. A first name is enough: no e-mail, no password.

Do my friends need the app?

Yes, to see the jar and add links to it. Send them the invite link: it takes them straight into the jar.

    What links can I keep?

Any web link: an Instagram, TikTok or YouTube video, a recipe, a listing, an article, a restaurant's page…

If I change phones, do I lose everything?

No. Install Bocal, tap “I already have jars”, enter a jar's code and pick your first name: you get your place and your links back.

    What about iPhone?

Bocal is coming to Android first.

    Your first jar is waiting.

Install Bocal, create your first jar, and invite the people you swap the most links with.

Already invited? Open the link you were sent: it takes you straight into the jar.
